"i've put together a 80 minute mix of some disco vibes which are lighting up my stratosphere. i began mixing it up just for my own selfish ipod needs during a day off i had at christmas and only recently got round to finishing due to album commitments. most of the tracks are re-edited in some form or over, and i splashed some moody synth drizzle over some of the beats. i got another hour of this mix sitting about, dunno, i maybe save it for another edition. would love to play club sets more like this, who knows, maybe i will... anyone wanna do a party?"......says erol and proofs again that he is one of the greatest.

Daft Punk back in the studio

Pedro "Busy P" Winter announced that the Boys from Daft Punk are in a studio in Paris at the moment. “And I can’t wait to listen to their new stuff! The good thing is that they are making music at the moment.” And then he added: “They are slow, you know. They are taking their time, and they have a right.”
At the same time he said that he stopps working for Daft Punk after 12 years and wants to concentrate on his label and his solo projects as Busy P.

I just discovered the Naive New Beaters and already fell in love with those crazy french guys. The sound is a nice mix of some 80's tunes, some nice Hip Hop vocals and of course a lot of bad electro noises. The result is: great! Listen to them on their Myspace site.
